We're doing critical listening here analyzing the form and harmonic content of the classic Prisoner's Song from 1951 by request from the amazing Stash Wyslouch and then a later live version.
With the modern ability to slow down the recordings without affecting the pitch, we have a major advantage there which we can use to discern nuances that would have been more difficult slowing records down which would bring the pitch down potentially obscuring what is happening.
