Come for a pov video of the ride Monkey Swinger at Chessington World Of Adventures. I use my gopro 12 black to record this ride. This video was taken on the first day of the 2019/2020 season. I have put the links for Chessington world of adventures website, merlin's website as they run all the big theme parks in England ( thrope park, LEGOLAND and Alton towers) and gopro website below. I also will put the address down below of Chessington world of adventures.

The ride first opened as part of the new Beanoland section of the park in 2000 under the name of Billy's Whizzer. After 2009, Beanoland was rethemed to Wild Asia with Billy's Whizzer being rethemed to Monkey Swinger in 2010.

In February 2025, Chessington World of Adventures announced that Wild Asia would not be open throughout the 2025 season.[2] This was to start plans for retheming the area into a brand new Minecraft themed area in 2027.[3]

During May 2025, Monkey Swinger was dismantled and removed from Wild Asia, with pieces spotted in the entrance car park.[4]
