For the very first time, Claude Monet’s “Impression, Sunrise”—the painting that gave the impressionist movement its name—is now in the United States.

After a journey of over 3,000 miles from the Musée Marmottan Monet, it’s now arrived in our West Building, just in time for the opening of our new exhibition: Paris 1874.
