In this episode of Mondays at Mirai, Eve fills in for Ryan to tread the garden on a sunny morning sharing some of her favorite trees and special places in the Mirai gardens.
While busy with the all-consuming task of parenting Ryan takes a rare day off, thus Josh (our classic voice behind the camera) and Eve (our voice behind the stream) join forces to share a lighthearted tour of the gardens. Making various stops throughout the garden, they share some stunning deciduous trees in their winter skeletal forms, and peak into the sensational redwood forest composition in the smaller greenhouse. In the new greenhouse, Eve points out some of her favorite pieces of kusamono and a massive pygmy cypress forest. Appreciating the simple beauty of small moments is never hard to find when having the opportunity to work in the magnificent Bonsai Mirai gardens.
