Following the Wednesday, November 16 evening performance of THE ENCOUNTER on Broadway, the show’s writer/director Simon McBurney was joined by mathematician Marcus du Sautoy for a post-show talkback. Geva Patz from the National Museum of Mathematics moderated. Professor du Sautoy collaborated with McBurney during the creation of show and is one of the voices heard during the production. They spoke about the themes of the show, their work together, and how the arts and sciences can enrich each other.
