MO-FLY RTF 680 mm P-51D Mustang
In this video I will discuss the EngineDIY MO-FLY ready to fly (RTF) 680 mm P-51D Mustang. This radio control model review is a four channel aircraft with elevator, rudder, ailerons and throttle. The P-51D uses a two cell rechargeable lipo battery.
The MO-FLY P-51D assembles very quickly, in less than 30 minutes. The instruction manual is complete with good illustrations and uses screws for assembly.
The P-51D balances correctly at the proper center of gravity with the lipo battery installed.
The P-51 built in stability control works very well. This P-51D is not a trainer aircraft, but after a pilot is comfortable handling a high performance sport model this airplane is a great next step.
The scale P-51D has plenty of power with its brushless motor. Takeoffs are very smooth and the study landing gear assists with takeoffs and landings. The model handles well and the pilot should be sure to keep airspeed up as if you get slow a rapid descent rate can occur.
Overall this is a great sport flyer, I liked mine a lot.
