A journey taken with modules mostly from Sputnik Modular. I recently added another oscillator, the touch keyboard, and 4-tap delay in what used to be my Verbos case (I’m consolidating on Sputnik).

Past Andromeda Patch Notes
========================
Arpeggio run by Sputnik Multi-touch Keyboard. I manually switch between octaves and arp directions through the piece. Too bad this can’t be voltage controlled! The Keyboard is sending v/oct to Sputnik oscillator #1 and pressure to the oscillator’s Waveshape input. The arp’s gate is keeping time for the entire piece. The oscillator’s output is sent to a channel of Quad VCF/VCA (QVV) in LPG mode, and further routed to another channel in low-pass mode. Low-pass is CV’d by West Coast Random Source (WCRS) Quantized Random Voltages (QRV), attenuated by Quadratt. Filtered output is sent through Intellijel 1U Digitank on its way to final mix.

Slow jangly line is run by 5-step Voltage Source in 4-step mode. CV out to Quadratt (to make it easier to tune) and on to Dual Oscillator (DO) v/oct. DO Timbre modulated by WCRS Stored Random Voltages (SRV) channel 1 (janglyness), and Symmetry by SRV channel 1. DO final out slow enveloped by Quad Function & Trigger Source (QFTS) and Valve Multiplier (VM, a VCA), and on to 2hp Delay with Feedback set relatively high, then mixed with the lead voice into 2hp Reverb and on to the final mix.

“Lead” voice is triggered by keyboard’s “Location Sensor”. Not sure if this is a bug or feature, but mine doesn’t require physical touch to trigger. You can see me just hovering my finger over it to create gates and cv. Anyway, this is driving Sputnik oscillator #2, the Waveshape and Sub outputs of which are crossfaded in one channel of the 4-Tap Delay and Crossfader with modulation from WCRS Fluctuating Random Voltage (FRV). This output is enveloped by QFTS and VM. Output of the VM into In #1 of the delay. 3/4t output is looped back into In #3, and t output to a channel of QVV in filter mode, and back into In #2. Thus, we’re feeding back two different delay taps. The feedback is kept pretty high, which results in some odd side-effects from time to time. Desirable in my mind. Signal of In #1 and t output are then cross faded in the second crossfader, which is being modulated by QFTS in looping mode. As mentioned, this voice is mixed with the jangly line in order to get some reverb into the picture.

About 7 minutes in I start playing with the modulation index of the DO. AM and FM modulation are both active. When I swing the index, this accounts for the crazy “bends” that occur, then the delay does the rest.
