In this video, I show the valve train and custom pushrods on a Ford Model T engine equipped with a Rajo 8-valve overhead-valve conversion head.
The Rajo head is one of the classic speed equipment upgrades for the Model T Ford, and it changes the engine from the original flathead-style valve arrangement into an overhead-valve setup. That means different valve gear, custom pushrods, special setup work, and a lot more attention to fitment than a stock Model T engine.
I go over the pushrod setup, the valve train layout, and what makes this old speed equipment different from a standard Model T engine. If you’re into antique Ford engines, Model T speed parts, overhead-valve conversions, or early hot rod history, this is the kind of mechanical detail you don’t see every day.
