At the model train show “Modeltrein Expo On traXs 2022”, Fokko Feenstra presented his beautiful model railroad layout called “De Philipslijn”. The miniature world in HO scale represents a section of the former tramway between Drachten and Groningen in the Netherlands. In 1951, the Philips factory in Drachten was interest in the streetcar line as a transport route for the delivery of goods. Therefore, the railroad was also called “The railway line of Philips company”.
