When I receive the separate tracks for this piece, I’m
amazed at how good Moby’s voice sounds. On all his own productions, he always hides it behind effects and
reverbs. Yet there’s a sort of haughty, extremely dandyish nonchalance to his voice ! I did not expecting it. And so
I decide to mix it to make it stand out, with no reverb and no effects. He doesn’t like it and asks me to mask his
vocals with some effects ! I do as I’m told, but this is the real mix.
