I thought I’ve got a special friendship
with Mehdi until I realise that he’s got this special friendship with all his friends. As well as talent, he possesses a
warm and generous and selfless soul that made him such precious. I was happy just knowing he was around. The
crap thing about death is that it’s forever. It pains me every time I realise that we’ll never meet again. I prefer to tell
myself that he’s gone touring further and for longer than usual and that wherever he may be, they’re so lucky to
have him there.
