So, this one is probably gonna be kinda bittersweet…
First things first though, I did not expect to beat this a few hours after I announced that I was dropping THF lmao, and also the same day I came back to Discord too, that was the most random shit to me lmfao
But anyways, I had dropped THF for reasons I already stated. To reiterate, I had gotten drained and worn out from the level, and after countless deaths in the second drop of the level and several hours of grinding it away, I realized that I should just stop, leave it, and beat something easier for my tastes. I know other people would be bothered by it, but at the end of the day I wanted my decision to matter.
But now the question was, what demon to I beat for 250? I still wanted to make it special, but making it another Woogi level would be kinda touché to me I guess lmao, so I wanted to think of something else.
However in the Mobile Squad, I asked one of the members, Electroanimator, about Incipient, because he seemed to like it a lot and would bring it up quite a bit. He said that it was a very fun experience and that I should try it out, it’s a decent amount more difficult than Acu so it could make for something really fun. At first I was skeptical of it because of my friend ZerniasX disliking the level a lot from prior experience, so I was a bit hesitant at first.
But then when I started playing it, I was pretty surprised. The level was actually really fun to learn and practice. And before you know it, it’s become one of my favorite extremes in the entire game. And honestly, I never expected that from this experience. I thought it was just gonna be another extreme that wouldn’t be too significant and that I would beat and get over without any sentimental value. But the level kind of grew on me.
So Electro if you see or read this, thank you man. Honestly this is one of the most fun extremes that I have ever played and/or beaten in this game to date. This is my second favorite extreme behind Retention, and I wouldn’t have found something like this that I would’ve enjoyed playing if you didn’t tell all of us about it. I can definitely see why you like this level so much, because it’s a good experience.
And the deco is something that I really like too. This may surprise you all but I actually enjoy this kind of early 2.1 style quite a bit, and it has a bit of charm to it that I don’t really see anywhere else. The effects and movements are really amazing too, so I really have to give it up to this level, if I could always beat levels I like these then I would have more of a reason to keep playing and beating extremes. Definitely a 9/10 :)
