A mob of Israeli settlers attacked locals and torched a village in the West Bank, setting homes and cars alight.

Over 70 Israeli settlers fired bullets and threw petrol bombs and rocks at residents, buildings and vehicles.

Videos on social media showed cars and houses on fire and plumes of smoke rising above the village.

At least one Palestinian was killed in the violent incursion into Jit, near the city of Nablus.
