The death toll is continuing to rise in the aftermath of Typhoon Yagi, as more bodies have been recovered at sites hit by major landslides and floods across Vietnam.

At least 233 deaths have now been confirmed with hundreds of workers and search dogs called in to help rescue those still trapped.

Thousands of people have been evacuated from low-lying areas in the capital, Hanoi, as the Red River reached its highest level in 20 years.
