The Ao Senso Telungjem Chümoukedima hosted the Moatsü Festival in collaboration with North East Zone Cultural Centre at Sammogooting Ground, Chümoukedima, on May 2.

Moatsu is a vibrant premier festival of the Ao Nagas celebrated annually from May 1-3, marking the end of the hectic sowing season. It is a time of joy, thanksgiving, and community bonding, characterized by traditional folk songs, dances, indigenous games and feasting.

The celebration was graced by Minister for PHED & Cooperation Jacob Zhimomi as Chief Guest, alongside Guest of Honour Metsubo Jamir (Minister for RD & SIRD) and the host MLA, Nuklutoshi.
