Most countrys' names in Māori are transliterated from English to match the rules and phonology of the language
The general rule is Reo (= language) + Country's name, *for example:*
''Reo [o te] Itāria (Language of Italy)''
But there are cases like Hebrew and Hindi that the rule isn't implied:
Reo Hīperu and Reo Hinti (not country names)
*Lastly for example:* Brazilian Portuguese is writen:
Reo Putukara-o-te-Parīhi (Portuguese language of Brazil)
