DAMIT! This is my best result out of fuckin 6 hours of pain! This is 0.02 seconds slower than the Lap 1 of the current BKT! Even tho it was the worst lap of the BKT i was just trying to beat it, for a Lap 1 video ^^ While this is uploaded, i am trying for a better one :)

The run could definitely be more optimized, but the last time I touched the track was in November of 2017, and I didnt feel like redoing it. Its not bad imo, just not good either :P
Also, I beat the previous TAS BKT by 3 seconds, so that should be good enough for now ^^ If you feel like beating this, go ahead, id love to see someone optimize this track properly, with good lines, lowtricks, and the best strats!

This is a Tool-Assisted Speedrun. This time will not count on any real-time rankings. Done on SwareJonges Dolphin 5.0 LUA Core using savestates, slow-down, frame advance, TAS code, TAS Input, and RAM watch.
Finally a new TAS after such a long time (over 10 months lol). This is a project Ive been working on a long time, but especially during 2021. I never quite got the motivation to finish it. However, when my 7 year YouTube anniversary came up in December I decided to revisit some of my unfinished projects. I was gonna combine them in a single video, but uploading them individually made more sense to me in the end. So yes, its confirmed, you can actually expect more than a single TAS from me this year!
I think this track is very unique among castle-like tracks and since version 2.0 I think it also plays really well. So I personally hope that this track gets added to CTGP at some point in the future.
About the run: I dont doubt that there is still more room for improvements, possibly even shown by the first bonus clip. But I just felt done with this track , and had I gone back to the first 6 seconds of the run I simply would have never finished it. Regardless, I am still very happy with how the run turned out, and I think it looks especially cool. I also liked the idea of including some strat comparisons for strats that I at some point used that ended up being slower.

I had this one sitting on my PC for a while already, but I was holding on to see if I could find further improvements. Fairly certain that Im done with this track for now. The only improvement I could imagine still being possible would come from the pipe bounce, and after trying around for at least 10 hours I could not get a single improvement. Maybe I will come back one day, but for now Im really proud of the result!
Also hope you enjoyed the little bonus part after the run ;) Nothing much, but I thought it would be boring to have another 10 second video!
