Even tho this is quiet short, I would definately say, that this is my best TAF so far! I am so proud of everything, except that I fell of twice in a row right at the beginning ^^ Also, this song fits perfect to the run :P
For now, I think I am done with DK Summit ^^ There really isnt much to explore anymore (besides something Thomas wants me to wait with) but other than that, this track seems to be broken to the limits!

Worked pretty hard for that! I was in a battle with Brazory and i am happy to beat him! I know that some parts like after the shroom spot or the cave are improvable, but honestly i like the other parts and i was unable to beat the run! Nontheless sub 36 is 100% sure possible :)

This is a Tool-Assisted Speedrun. This time will not count on any real-time rankings. Done on Dolphin 5.0 with savestates, slowdown, frame advance, TAS code, TAS Input, and RAM watch (created by Swarejonge).
This one has been sitting on my PC nearly finished for a while now, so I finally got the motivation to get the last few things done. Shortly after finishing the run, the track got updated. On the latest version (v1.4.1) this run desyncs at around 20 seconds, however, I simply could not be bothered to completely start over. I believe that a run on the latest version would not be much slower or faster, so I am fine with having this on an outdated version.
When I initially started working on this run there were 2 super cool shortcuts, the small corner cut I later perform with a wallclip (there used to be a trickable roof there) and the huge shroomspot which I show off at the end. Both of them have sadly been removed, making the track more fair to play but unfortunately, less exciting for me. Regardless, this is still one of the best custom tracks ever created.
About the run:
I am pretty satisfied with this to be honest. No doubt there will be smaller improvements here and there, but for a track with this many routes and strats (a lot of which were significantly slower so I didnt bother showing them) I am happy to have found what I believe to be the most optimal route. And considering I went back and restarted the entire run due to updates to the track twice, I think Im also quite happy with the level of optimization.
I recommend watching Metabuss videos on the track, especially the shortcut showcase. The fact that everything done in this run was intended is absolutely incredible.

Welcome to my perspective of some Mario Kart Wii Hide & Seek rooms, featuring a bunch of DS tracks. Ive been meaning to play this game mode since the first time I saw it being mentioned on the Internet, and about a month ago I finally managed to install riivolution. This game mode was some of the most fun Ive had playing MKWii in a good while, and after these 2 sessions I figured I should edit these and upload them.
