Welcome to my perspective of some Mario Kart Wii Hide & Seek rooms, featuring a bunch of DS tracks. I've been meaning to play this game mode since the first time I saw it being mentioned on the Internet, and about a month ago I finally managed to install riivolution. This game mode was some of the most fun I've had playing MKWii in a good while, and after these 2 sessions I figured I should edit these and upload them. I don't see myself doing live commentary for my videos, yet I felt that without any sort of commentary this video would feel somewhat empty, so I opted for this style of commentary. This is a TAS Flap. TAS stands for Tool-Assisted- Speedrun. This run does not count towards any real rankings, as it was played on the Dolphin Emulator. Flap stands for Fastest Lap, where the goal is to complete a single lap as fast as possible.
So, its done. 16/32 tracks now have an ultra shortcut. This is a dream come true.
Id like to shoutout a couple of people.
First of all, Jaden, who theorized this glitch and without him, we most likely would not have discovered this. Please check out this video that explains how he found this glitch:

Second, big shoutouts to Charlie, who helped with that one very awful turn with a very sharp angle. Hes a phenomenal glitch explorer. Without him I would not have been able to complete this run:

Third, shoutouts to Jellopuff, who pulled of the lap count just minutes before I managed to. Unfortunately drove backwards before the flap, which means he did the ultra in lap 1, thusly not actually getting a flap. I am insanely proud of this video. At first, this video was supposed to be, well, lets say different. But Im glad I changed my opinion and it turned out the way it did. This was a project that went on since pretty much december 2017, so I am very happy to finally have it finished.
I might be making more TAF Montages in the future, as it is the easiest way to get solid TAF videos. Making full TAFs nowadays is hard ^^
