Similar to the Peaceful Forest stage from a few months back, this is another stage that I'd started more than a year/year and a half ago (maybe even two years back?) and just... kinda forgot about and never picked back up again, until very, very recently. :D
This stage is kind of an Outworld equivalent to my old Ossuary stage from when I first started making these MKP stages about four years ago. Kind of an Outworld ossuary for the remains of ancient kings and rulers of realms that Shao Kahn had long ago conquered and assimilated into Outworld.
For someone like Kahn, this is almost a kind of perverse trophy room: where the skeletal remains of his slain adversaries are on display in a "palace" made up of the bones of their own dead soldiers, guards, advisers, families, and so on... all in a kind of morbid mockery of their once esteemed positions as rulers and emperors of their respective realms.
Who knows, the physical remains of King Jerrod may well likely be somewhere in these halls? Could that even be him seated prominently in the center of the stage here maybe? Who knows?
