I met up with some of the Aussie crew and was able to to sit shotgun for a session each in a Mk7 and Mk8 Fiesta ST. Take a look at the main differences between the 2 cars and how it translates to lap times.
The Mk 8
Mechanically standard.
Yokohama Advan AD08r tyres
Experienced driver at this track.
The Mk7
Peron Stage 2 Pro
Mods to suit the remap
Zestino Gredge Semi Slicks (the harder compound of the 2 available)
Less experienced driver.
Both drivers nailed some PB's on the day and showed me that I need to push my own tyres more than I do.
