Generative artificial intelligence technologies—including ChatGPT and Midjourney—have exploded in popularity and effectiveness in recent years. Increasingly, it’s possible to employ programs instead of humans to develop “creative” content (and more and more challenging to tell the difference). The world is at a technological inflection point, just as it was during the Industrial Revolution.

This is a transformative moment, but where is it leading? What is the appropriate role of AI in the workplace? And how can we ensure that AI is a force for good? These are the kinds of questions that the MIT community is uniquely prepared to tackle.

Watch and learn from MIT faculty members with expertise across entrepreneurship, management, economics, and computer ethics who will discuss:

-The future of work in the AI era, including positives, possibilities, and pitfalls
-Educational frameworks and research fueled by Social and Ethical Responsibilities of Computing at MIT
-How MIT is training the next generation of technologists to thrive in an AI-driven world
-The ways MIT collaborates across schools and departments and is harnessing AI to solve real-world problems.
