The early reviews on Mistfall Hunter is in — and the people who actually played the beta came away way more impressed than expected. This is basically Dark Souls meets Escape from Tarkov: a dark-fantasy extraction RPG where you drop into a shrinking mist, fight monsters AND rival players for loot, and try to escape before you lose everything. It's backed by David Brevik, the creator of Diablo, and it's launching at just $25. So is this the extraction game that finally cracks the code, or another one that fades out? I went through all the previews and beta impressions to find out.
