In this video, I show you how to setup the AO486 emulator on the Mister FPGA console.

[Instructions]
1. Download the Mister FPGA AO486 from github.com/MiSTer-devel/ao486_MiSTer
2. Copy ao486 core file to the root directory of the Mister
3. Make a directory in the games directory
/games/AO486
/games/AO486/floppy
/games/AO486/cd/
/games/AO486/vhd/
4. Put in all driver files in the /games/AO486/floppy folder.
5. On Windows create a .vhd image. Go to search and type "create and format hard drive partition"
6. Detach drive.
7. Copy .vhd drive in /games/AO486/vhd
8. Copy MS-DOS 6.22 O.S. and MS-DOS 6.22 startup disks to /games/AO486/floppy.
9. Restart the MisterFPGA.
10. Start AO486 core.
11. Press win + F12 or go to the menu.
12. Insert the .vhd image in the first IDE device.
13. Insert MS-DOS 6.22 startup disk
14. Type in FDISK
15. Create a primary partition
16. It will reboot.
17. Type in Format C:
18. Insert MS-DOS 6.22 disk 1
19. Reboot.
20. Install MS-DOS 6.22
21. After you finish, go to the menu, and eject the floppy disk. Go to the floppy disk, and press backspace key to eject the disk.
22. Reboot
23. Copy driver files to hard drive, like Sound Blaster, Mouse, and CD drivers.
24. I set my directories to the following
• CD-ROM - c:\drivers\CD
• Mouse - c:\drivers\mouse
• Sound Blaster 16 - c:\drivers\sb16
25. Do a hard reboot on the Mister FPGA
26. Go back to your computer. Interface with the MiSTER FPGA console.
27. Use create and format hard disk partitions in Windows.
28. Attach VHD.
29. Put in the file oakcdrom.sys file in the CD drivers directory in your VHD image.
30. Detach VHD.
31. Go back to Mister FPGA console.
32. Configure autoexec.bat to the following below.
33. Configure config.sys to the following below.
