The city of Missoula approved their Fiscal Year 2027 budget Monday night after a series of meeting and public hearings.
The budget will raise city property taxes by 3.8%, with 82.5% allocated to city employee wage increases, 10.9% baseline and contractual, and 6.5% allocated to other new requests.
Funds are not entirely from tax revenue, with the city using funding from fees, grants and other non-tax sources, for about 9.3% of its expenditures.
