My thoughts on the Misison Impossible franchise for the first six films and their 4K UHD release from Paramount. This is a largely solid affair for the UHDs but there are still some issues and particularly Ghost Protocol has overdone HDR grading. Most regrettable for me are a handful of encoding and HDR issues on the first film and the fact that it is STILL without it's theatrical audio mix which is only to be found in 5.1 discrete on the Laserdisc release.
The UHDs will remain the same once Dead Reckoning Part One arrives on physical media but there will undoubtedly be another packaging refresh and a new boxset of 1-7.
