Friends keep telling me that there continues to be much discussion and misinformation regarding using CAT6a vs CAT5e cable. While not all CAT5e/CAT6a cables are created equal and there are huge differences, ignoring the advantages of CAT6a to stick with outdated CAT5e recommendations can be easily proven to be a flawed plan.
