Miriam Jameson may have started piano at the age of 5, but it wasn’t until decades of classical training, a Masters in Music Performance, and a life-altering illness that she began to explore improvisation. After transitioning out of the classical world and into a more eclectic genre, Jameson discovered that by sitting at the piano and with an emotion in real time, she could record a musical representation of her healing process. And so, Jameson’s music is a story: of life and love, of pain and growth, and ultimately, of peace.
This is a song at the piano that brings to life the feeling of winter rest: Bare trees, cool air, glistening snow... calm joy.
