Meet Edward, aka đPrince Edward đ. Let us tell you why he's so special....
There are only 2 northern white rhinos left on the planet. The species is functionally extinct and on the brink of annihilation. That's where Edward comes in. He's the first southern white rhino calf born via artificial insemination. It's our hope to perfect artificial insemination in southern white rhinos so they can serve as surrogates for northern white rhino embryos created using stem cell technology. No, this isn't Jurassic Park. This is real life. This is our mission. We hope you'll join us as we strive to save the northern white rhino--and many other species--from extinction.
