MINNOW CANYON, AZ

I had the good fortune of meeting a fellow climber on the summit of Weavers Needle named Quinton. He was kind enough to give me a tour of Minnow Canyon by Fish Creek in the Superstition Mountains. I have been to Fish Creek many times but had never explored the rugged terrain of Minnow Canyon. Our timing was great as there was water flowing from the recent rains.
Minnow is a nice canyon in the Superstition Wilderness, containing huge boulder-fields to navigate and explore with some nice, small pools hiding beneath them on occasion. The one rappel can be done in stages if needed from the obvious landing zone on canyon right looking from the top.
