The Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED) has released its latest job report, showing that the state’s annual job growth has outpaced the national average. Over the past 12 months leading up to July, Minnesota added 44,092 new jobs across a broad range of industries, marking a 1.5 percent growth rate compared to the national average of 0.2 percent. The state's overall unemployment rate also dropped slightly to 4.3 percent.
