Monday night as family, friends, and teammates gathered at Saint Ignatius Catholic Church for a vigil remembering Nathaniel Drees. The 16-year-old incoming Kingsland High School senior, who was a passionate football player, track athlete, and musician, tragically died following a weekend ATV crash in Fillmore County.

Heartbreakingly, the community vigil took place on what would have been Nathaniel’s 17th birthday.
