The remains of the late Chairman of the National Population Commission, Dr. Aminu Yusuf Talban Wushishi, have been laid to rest in Minna, Niger State. Yusuf died in Abuja on Friday, August 28, 2026, after a brief illness, aged 66. He was sworn in as the eighth substantive chairman of the National Population Commission in December 2025, bringing extensive experience in public service, governance and grassroots development to the commission.
