A different kind of challenge run: Minimalist 100%
Part 4 - Kohga and Thunderblight

The desert area is actually my favorite part of the game. If it weren't for the fact that you get constant Yiga ambushes for the remainder of the entire playthrough after retrieving the Thunder Helm, I would totally clear this section first every time I start a new run.

As for Thunderblight, I had the not yet used Forest Dweller's Sword, and the Ceremonial Trident with 1 point of durability already missing (because of the shrine quest). Blight HP scales up for every Blight you have already killed, but since Thunderblight was my first, he had "only" 800 HP total.

- The metal rod shock attack deals 200 DMG flat and stuns him for a moment, so only 600 damage points have to be dealt with weapons.

- The Forest Dweller's Sword has 22 ATT and 27 DUR, so it can deal a total amount of 22*27 = 594 damage points in theory. The last hit that breaks a weapon is always a crit tho, so the total amount of damage that sword deals if you completely use it up would be 616 DMG ... enough to Kill Thunderblight with a single weapon. If you do NOT want to use up the sword completely, you can only hit Thunderblight up to 26 times which will make you deal 572 DMG total and "badly damage" the sword (1 DUR left).

- The Ceremonial Trident has 14 ATT and 40 DUR, missing one point of DUR already from the shrine quest (and later 2 more from the Kohga fight), so it can deal 14*37 = 518 damage points before it breaks. The same rules apply here: the last hit deals double damage, but if you want to preserve the weapon then you'll have to skip at least the last hit.

- Un-upgraded rune bombs deal 12 points of damage, so in theory it would have been possible to defeat him with the Forest Dweller's Sword and one or two rune bombs without even breaking the weapon, and without needing the trident

Additional information:

- Hitting *some* unbreakable objects like ore with melee weapons doesn't take a toll on their durability. That's why the Korok Leaf still has the "new weapon" sparkle even tho I accidentally hit the Luminous Ore with it. The same goes for the crystal switches inside shrines / Divine Beasts, fruit, mushrooms, grass, rune bombs, the cannon levers ... this isn't true for ALL items tho: stasis-whacking Korok Puzzle Boulders for example still eats through the durability of your weapons fast.

- If you wear anything but the Gerudo Vai clothes while talking to Riju on top of the lookout tower, she'll say something like "oh so that's what you really look like?" ... but if you wear your disguise, this dialogue is skipped.

- You can not re-enter an already completed Divine Beast. If you do not pick up the Heart Container, it will be floating outside of the Divine Beast in question until you pick it up.
