Wout12345 | Minigame: Mineball - Minecraft @Wout12345 | Uploaded 12 years ago | Updated 2 hours ago
In this video I feature a minigame called Mineball (as a reference to Mindball), which I have been working on for the past two days. The game consists of the player being required to look at certain type of iron rail for long enough to score a point. However, if the player doesn't score points fast enough the player will lose, unless the gamemode is set to "Exercise". Also, in case the player feels like the game is too easy or hard, the player is able to alter the difficulty using three different difficulty settings.
Unfortunately, I wasn't able to add the "Player versus player" game mode which was part of my original goal, mainly because wireless signals using iron rails or glass panes don't work at all on multiplayer (however, it was a relief too, thinking about all the redstone complications this game mode would have caused XD).
Also, I forgot to mention this video of Codecrafted concerning wireless signals. Wireless signals are the main mechanics which made this minigame possible, so make sure you check that video out too.

I submitted this minigame too for Codecrafted's (what a coincidence XD) minigame review series on Youtube. If you feel like they should review Mineball, please thumbs up my comment so there's a larger chance Codecrafted spots it.

And of course, here's the download link for the map so you can play it yourself! If you want to look at the redstone, I advise installing SPC so you can set your game mode to creative.
