N.C. White Jr. was a professional photographer in Gainesville, Georgia during the early 1900s whose collection of stunning portraits showcases locals from all walks of life. In October of 2020, the Northeast Georgia History Center acquired over 20,000 negatives from the original White & Son studio as well as original equipment and documents! During this free Mini-Documentary, the History Center shares the story of this collection as well as the history of early photography in the United States.
