The Secret Garden Diorama just won't let me go!
Today, we complete the Portal that allows us to enter into the enchantment of the mysteriously romantic garden...
You know how a particular project can lead you in unexpected directions? Well, this one is teaching me SO much about many things...
The main thing I'm learning? The depth of passion I have for designing svg files. Yep. I could design all day, every day, and not lose interest...there is MAGIC (for me, anyway) in the process of translating real world objects into 2D silhouettes, then scheming up ways to bring them into 3D as miniatures. The inspiration is literally endless, and my enthusiasm for the process is keeping pace.
In other words: this path has me on FIRE! Today's offering marks the beginning of a journey that I hope won't end for a LONG, long time: to bring forth the tiny architectural accents that I yearn to construct, with all the precision and detail that my vision demands. Yep, it may be a weird obsession, but it's all mine, and I revel in it!
So, let's get on with it: let's build this Classical Door Surround, and install it into The Secret Garden Diorama!
