Warning: This run is extremely boring. Don't watch the whole thing, just skim through it. I am not responsible for any drowsiness or fatigue caused by this video.
In 1.16, all you need to do to unload an ender pearl is to throw one pearl and lower the render distance. This contrasts with 1.7 which required you to throw two pearls in opposite directions from a high point. This allows you to use pearl de-load strategies from almost anywhere in the world. In this speedrun, I take advantage of that and use a pearl de-load every time I dig down to get an objective.
With that being said, the run is still quite boring. Most of the run is spent traveling hundreds of blocks from one dungeon to the next in mostly vanilla terrain. Also, re-loading a pearl from a large distance away in 1.16 (more than ~10 chunks) is very slow and can even take up to a minute. This is why I don't use pearl de-loads to travel hundreds of blocks at a time.
In fact, I didn't do this run because I particularly cared about its time, but mainly for two other reasons:
1. To bring the Super Hostile sum of WRs to under 4 hours (it is now 3 hours and 54 minutes).
2. To practice the 1.16 strats for the Super Hostile Undecathlon and make the goal of under 5 hours easier to reach.
