Mojang has come up with a polished implementation of their last years April fools infinite dimensions concept. This time around is much more refined - is it another flux or will it stay?
It is April FOols - Mojang didn't come up with anything like that. Its a scarpet app you can install yourself and try it out:

In this episode of Fun Farms, I am debunkin some myths about villager breeding and explain zero-member villages that can get you started on breeding with 3 doors and 2 villagers.
I also present simple village to breeder conversion that technically can breed villagers with exponential speeds.
First video of a two-parter. In the second part we will be talking about much more controlled, yet still powerful industrial villager breeder.
If you only start with 2 villagers, it may take them quite some time to get started, but once you have a few villagers, they start to breed like rabbits.

Little bit of an ad-hoc video, so if you have any improvements, let me know in the comments.
If you are concerned about hopper duplication, still present in 1.11, just replace an item in hopper pairs with a diamond or a beacon, and you will stop worrying, that your elevator stalled :-)
