On Aug. 31, the Grammy winner debuted a new handle on her social media profiles, dropping “Cyrus” to just go by Miley on social media. That same day, she posted a red and black-filtered photo of herself with the caption, MILEY. "Music takes hold of us," Cyrus wrote in a Sept. 1 Instagram post. "We feel it, sing it, sometimes dance to it, let it out and carry on. It is powerful, vulnerable, sweet and strong. Heart full, heartache, every part of life in between. That’s what the title means to me." Cyrus’ new era couldn’t come at a more opportune time, as she announced her engagement to Maxx Morando in December on the tails of her last album Something Beautiful.
