Nearly one month after KATSEYE’s Sophia Laforteza announced she would be going on hiatus, the group confirmed that her break will continue as they commence the European leg of their Wildworld Tour. “We would like to share an update regarding Sophia’s upcoming schedule,” a statement from HYBE x Geffen Records shared to the girl group’s Instagram Stories on Aug. 30 read. “Sophia is focusing on her well-being, and the company remains fully committed to providing her with all the support and resources needed.” Laforteza shocked fans Aug. 7 after it was announced she would be temporarily stepping away from the girl group just six months after her bandmate Manon Bannerman announced she’d be going on a hiatus.
