Sub 5 minute mile training requires speed workouts. For the best workout to improve your mile time and run faster, try 300 meter intervals. Join me at the track for a tough speed session.

This is the 4th episode in my Run a Faster Mile in your 30s series. The 300m is a staple for elite runners all around the world. It gives you a little bit more time at a fast pace then say a 200 meter rep, but it doesn't beat you up as much as a 400 meter.

This has been my go to workout for a few years now and last year I ran a very similar workout that I got totally wrong, but got stronger from it. Today's workout was harder because of the very short rest. Enjoy!
