For some reason, the Special Demo doesn't let you choose french voices in the options. Yet they are indeed there.
So here's how you play with those voices in the Special Demo from Humble Bundle:
- Open \MN9Game\Config\Mn9Engine.ini on Notepad
- Search for "Language="
- Replace INT/JPN with "FRA".
- Save.
- DO NOT ACCESS OTHERS TAB IN THE SETTINGS OR IT PUTS BACK THE OLD VOICE SETTING
It just happens that the french voices are actually full of decent voice actors, and especially nostalgic ones.
For exemple, the voices of Sonic, Shadow & Knuckles are doing No. 7, No. 6 and Beck himself.
No. 1 / Narrator is Ryo Saeba from City Hunter (or Nicky Larson for the french speakers), and many others does the same kind of thing, it's really cool.
Sometimes they overact but it's always better than the English's "reading the lines" acting, plus it's not that out of place for a game like this.
