Midas was being a real pest, so Amara is having a bit of time away from him, something he is not pleased about at all. He is missing her, but he still has his mom Faye to keep him company.
Midas is very picky about who he lives with. A few months ago he chose Amara to be his companion but now he has decided that he rather likes his mom Faye too. Amara, Midas and Faye are now a happy little family.
In this video Amara is off having free run with Brampton. Female mice come into heat every four days and Midas tends to overdo things. Amara really needed a break. Brampton, who is not neutered, is much more gentle with the females than high energy, neutered little Midas, plus he is lonely and really appreciates any socializing he can get. I am pretty sure that Amara is infertile, so she is safe spending a bit of time with him. Midas can be such a pest lol I wanted to post a video of why, but my guess is that YouTube would sensor it :D
