This video shows a cell division in time lapse (up to125x) and some movements and cytoplasmic streaming of the desmid Micrasterias thomasiana var. notata filmed using a microscope. The intercellular connections have in one scene (around 0:35) been pointed out by putting some chinese ink into the water.
Illumination: Darkfield, phase contrast and asymmetric Rheinberg/Col mixture
