December 17, 2004. Michael invited 200 underprivileged children and their families from special centres, churches & schools to Neverland for a Christmas party and reiterates that his home is always open to the needy, as well as families & fans from around the world.
Michael’s spokesperson at the time, Raymone Bain, also present at the event, said that it was not an out-of-the-ordinary event at Neverland and at least 2 to 4 times a month, hundreds of inner-city and underprivileged children and adults spent their time exploring Michael's ranch, riding on attractions, snacking on food and drinks, watching movies and playing in the two-story arcade, all being provided free-of-charge by Michael, and, often, even during his absence there.
