Michael Chang: Youngest-Ever Men's Singles Champion at Roland Garros.

At the tender age of 17 years and three months, Michael Chang becomes the youngest men's singles winner at Roland Garros.

The young and seemingly fearless American knocked out the mighty Ivan Lendl in the last 16 in a titanic struggle, before going on to make it to the final where he faced Stefan Edberg.

Though he found himself two sets to one down, he managed to turn things around to record the first win for an American in the men’s singles in 34 years (since Tony Trabert in 1955).

Watch our YouTube #Shorts video on Michael Chang's journey through the Roland Garros men's singles draw, all the way to lifting La Coupe des Mousquetaires on the red clay of Paris.
