Summary: In this part, Kaminari feels incredibly guilty about allowing an enemy's quirk to kill Jirou.
A strange person then appears and expalins that if he kisses Jirou, he will be able to trade places with her. He will be cursed, but she will go free.
Though Yaoyorozu attempts to dissuade him, Kaminari does perform the action. The mysterious person activates her quirk (which reveals she was originally the one to curse Jirou).
At first, it seems both Kaminari and Jirou are trapped by the quirk. Then, the mysterious person reverses her quirk, and both U.A. students are freed.
She had been lying when she said Kaminari would take Jirou's place, because she just wanted to test if Kaminari was selfless enough to sacrifice himself. Since he was, she allowed both students to go free as a reward.
Kaminari, Jirou and Yaoyorozu then form a group hug, while the mysterious person disappears.
In the final scene, the person is on the ground, barely alive. Shigaraki, who is standing over her, has used his quirk on her. In her final breath, the girl expresses her wish for Kaminari and Jirou to be happy together.
Everything went according to plan.
