Full summary (contains spoilers for the video, is used to avoid confusion):
Jirou and Kaminari escape from the LOV, after the villains kidnapped Jirou and Kaminari turned on them. It is revealed to both hero students that a clone of Toga (courtesy of Twice) was pretending to be the "green villain" who cursed Jirou with her quirk quite a month or so back. Toga pretended she could reactivate that quirk at any time while impersonating the villain, which allowed her to use Jirou as a hostage and force Kaminari to work with them.
Meanwhile, at U.A. Tsuyu and Uraraka finally escape the closet that Toga and a Toga clone locked them in when impersonating them. It seems Toga gloated about her plan to the girls, since both knew exactly where the villains had taken Jirou. They tell Aizawa immediately.
But would Jirou need rescuing? Her and Kaminari flee the LOV's warehouse base through a window and exit into an alleyway, where there is a giant blood stain and a spectacle. The spectacle belongs to the "green villain," who had been merciful enough to free both Jirou and Kaminari from her quirk a month ago. So.. the villain is dead. Is it because she saved them? What had brought her life up to this point? No- there isn't time to think about it.
Kaminari and Jirou race down several streets. They find Twice, with a clone of Dabi and a clone of Shigaraki. The two clones are dealt with quickly, and the two hero students run on, with Twice hot on their heels. The students split up while running, and meet back up in front of the LOV warehouse- where Dabi, Compress and Toga stand. The two men are both already in rough shape, so Toga stands in front of them both- but Jirou knocks down a pillar. It lands a top all three villains with enough force to disable- but not kill- any of them.
Twice, seeing this, immediately attacks Kaminari. He has been betrayed and his friends were hurt before him, just like when he brought Overhaul back to an old base. Jirou intervenes and knocks Twice unconscious- though not before he can call Kaminari a traitor, which visibly upsets the teen. Jirou gives him a kiss on the cheek to comfort him, then explains their urgent need for help after the ringing in her ears- caused by quirk overuse- called attention to itself.
However, Toga- who managed to remain conscious- sneaks up behind her with a knife. She slashed it across Jirou's back, but Jirou hastily throws Toga back. Then Kaminari uses his tie to bandage Jirou's wound.
While they are idle, the LOV warehouse- which has an unstable foundation from Dabi's blast of fire- cracks on the exterior. Then, Shigaraki and Spinner approach, the former carrying a hostage.
Kaminari stayed to fight in spite of him approaching his "yay mode." (Due to training with AFO as a child, Kaminari managed to train his quirk to the point where entering his "yay mode" was very rare- but still possible, in situations like this. He just pretended to enter it to hinder the heroes in his traitor days.) He sends Jirou to sneak around the villains.
While Shigaraki approaches Kaminari, Jirou snatched the hostage from him to keep the little boy safe. Then Kaminari tackles Shigarki, pulling him offscreen, and blasts lightning. Then he stumbles back- in his "yay mode" - and crashes into the unstable building. Rubble falls on him, and he doesn't get up. Jirou collapses to her knees, screaming, "NOOOOO!"
She barely has a second to breathe before Spinner is running at her with a weapon. She dodges a few times, but soon passes out due to quirk exhaustion, still shielding the hostage with her body even in such a state. Spinner raised his katana to strike, and for a moment everything is over for Jirou.
Then comes Yaoyorozu, who arrived with her class and the pros to the scene. She blocks the strike with her own weapon, and fights the villain. Soon, Iida darts past, and knocks Spinner unconscious with a strike to the head.
Other members of Class 1-A fid disabled villains and handcuff them while removing them from precarious situations, while Yaoyorozu creates stretchers for Jirou and the hostage, with the help of her quirk.
Meanwhile, Kirishima, Bakugou, Ashido and Sero find Kaminari, underneath the rubble. Freeing him from it, Kirishima gets on his hands and knees to check Kaminari's arm for a pulse. He had to have one, right? But he doesn't. Kirishima looks up and shakes his head at his friends.
Kaminari is dead.
