I've started the grind for low-score records since it occurred to me that I haven't submitted attempts for this yet. This is my new current-best for Peach's Castle Grounds Front Tees. There is so much cheese on this course to exploit. Green Pipe on 1, Green Pipe on 4, sliced fades on hole 8, Yellow Pipe on 13. Front 9 is manageable, though 9 is tricky. Back 9 is evil. Despite the cheese, this is still a tough course where every extra stroke beneath -18 is exponentially harder to save. Because of how safe you have to play most drives, navigating from front or back tees isn't much different aside from 4 and 12. You are a champion if you can play better than this.
How to Disable Saving: Load up your game file with the memory card in slot A and go through the dialogue at the title screen as usual. Once on the main menu, remove the memory card. Go to Options-Data-Delete Saved Data. Without the memory card, the game will tell you there is no card to delete the save from. You'll be given the option instead to continue playing without saving, which you will confirm. The Data box and the Continue box will disappear, forbiding the use of a midround save. This will also change the pause menu so that instead of Save/Quit, it will simply just be Quit Game and there is no option to pick a slot to save to.
